Headaches
A many times overlooked cause of headaches is the misaligned of the spinal bones in the neck and upper back. If those bones are out of their normal position nerves and/or blood vessels to the head can be affected and causing headaches. Pain medication just covers up the problem, but doesn't resolve it.
Therapy provided at Premier Health Center can reduce nerve muscle and ligament irritation known to cause headaches, thus allowing relief even to Migraine sufferers.
Neck Pain
It can be caused by a non-proper spinal curve, an unbalanced head or non-leveled shoulders to name only a few. Your neck has to balance your head weighing 10 to 18 lbs. all day, which is not an easy task if something is out of line.
Whiplash
Whiplash is one of the most common injuries from a car accident. On impact the head is violently thrown to the front or back beyond its normal limits and then muscles retract to whip it back into position.
Soft tissue damage can occur even in a "minor" accident where little or no damage is done to the car. If left untreated, adhesions can occur which will limit the range of motion in the spine as the body compensates for the injury.
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Repetitive motions such as typing, computer work, and text messaging, etc., can cause the Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. You can feel pain, weakness, tingling, numbness or loss of strength in your hand.
Finding the cause of pain is the key to treatment of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
Cold Laser Therapy
For more than 20 years, Light Therapy has been used extensively throughout the world to effectively treat a number of soft-tissues injuries, pain and inflammatory conditions.
Cold Lasers produce non-thermal photons of light that penetrate into the tissues and work a cellular level without burning, scarring or heating the tissues. Recently, FDA cleared this exciting technology for the treatment of pain as well as stiffness associated with arthritis and inflammation.
In most cases, healing time is improved by 60% to 70%.
